It's a challenge for the Australian squad to achieve unprecedented feats.

We're talking about the squad that has secured seven Cricket World Cups, along with six more T20 titles, and previously enjoyed nearly four years undefeated in 50-over cricket.

The remaining milestones, those for the peak baggers, are all that remain for a squad that has won it all.

It needed up to Sunday's victory by three wickets over India for them to accomplish their maiden ODI chase exceeding 300, taking back their record for the largest in women's cricket's 50-over format, is, frankly, a compliment to the bowling attack that have sported the yellow jersey over the past 50 years.

The New Zealand onslaught in 2022 happened while she topped the run-scoring charts, but this innings was preceded by six games in India over the past few weeks in which she had been unable to reach 30.

"If you've been watching me in the nets, it was a challenging time because it seemed I lacked timing at all," stated Healy.

"But once you step out on the field, your competitive nature take over and you simply focus on the match."

Healy's competitiveness has continuously been her major advantage - and an irreplaceable characteristic in taking over from famous previous leader Meg Lanning.

She was challenged by India's promising player Kranti Gaud in recent ODI series, dismissed by the 22-year-old seamer in all three matches, but here that only provided Healy's inspiration.

One run resulted off Gaud's first delivery and from that point the batsman was on her way.

"An opportunity to take the field and engage in competition with her and just have a bit of fun in that regard, somewhat inspired me," commented Healy.

She got to fifty in 35 deliveries - her fastest at the World Cup - and her ton in 84 deliveries while she flogged anything short, striking 21 boundaries and three sixes.

By the time she was out the team needed 66 additional runs at a run-a-ball - a manageable total now demanding an easy conclusion.

"Pursuing 330 is unfamiliar ground so I am glad we have the assurance to accomplish that now," continued Healy.

"Preferably we shouldn't have to do it another time but, if necessary, we are confident we can do it."

These statements will be the ultimate thing competing nations at this championship need to hear.

Over the past five days a feeling they will triumph from any situation has only strengthened - this triumph succeeding success over Pakistan by 107 run margin despite sitting at 76-7 at a certain moment.

Following this Australia face Bangladesh before a meeting with old rivals England in Indore in a week and a half, by which point a last-four spot may probably be guaranteed.
