The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Warriors Table

Since the launch of Campaign 4, new Dungeon Master the talented storyteller has kept fans guessing with extensive world-building, a wide array of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing angels, fiends, and sinister influences expanding in power within the city.

Heads-up: Spoilers for the third episode of Campaign 4 lie ahead.

The Soldiers Table Introduced

The third episode ended with a major cliffhanger and revealed the premier party of characters who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, apart from the additional parties.

The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (portrayed by Travis), the nimble rogue (Laura Bailey), the strong-willed figure (the cast member), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan (Robbie Daymond).

The Reason for Division

Considering an extensive roster, it was evident from the beginning that maintaining everyone at a single group would be impossible.

Hence, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before branching into three distinct groups: Soldiers, Planners, and Questers.

Characteristics of the Soldiers Table

Per Brennan Lee Mulligan, the warrior group is for players who prefer a traditionally charged combat and conflict-driven narrative style where peaceful solutions are rare.

At first glance, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear mismatched, but the developments of the latest installment make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the Soldiers table.

Why They Must Go

To begin with, the team has a clear idea where to head next after a intense first encounter with The Crow Keepers.

Casimir of Thjazi—whose death started the story’s plot—exploited The Crow Keepers for his personal gain, invading the hidden lair, assaulting Thimble, and taking all the magical artifacts to dispose of.

Casimir then cleared his liabilities and fled to a secure base in the northern region, above the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Additionally, each character has a personal reason to leave the city the urban setting:

  • Thimble, as the close ally and trusted friend, seeks retribution.
  • Kattigan is familiar with the region and warns that it is a nasty location.
  • The strong character and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to execute the target and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
  • But, their status as important members in the influential clan could enable the party reach areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, Teor pledged a eternal obligation to The savior for his salvation and will now accompany him wherever.

Pursued by Authorities

In addition, all of them are sought by the rulers that rule the setting for a variety of reasons, making staying in the city dangerous:

  • The agile adventurer and The hero are notorious outlaws.
  • The strong figure and The healer turned against the influential house and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
  • The target is wanted dead by House Halovar.

This means them little choice but to travel to the remote area in pursuit of the antagonist.

What’s Next?

From the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the warrior group won’t be around in the upcoming installment, leaving the rest of the participants to assemble the Seekers and Schemers parties.

Fans can look forward to finding out which adventurers will be assigned to which table in the story’s last Overture episode, streaming live on October 24.
